Grovf extends its security IP portfolio by Probabilistic search engine
In today's 100G and faster networks most companies use complex and expensive software-based LI and PD systems with a lot of CPUs. Grovf's FPGA IP portfolio, and mostly probabilistic match and DPI engines enable companies to implement LI or PD systems using a single network card. The approach leads to TCO saving, minimizes the loss and reduces network latency 100x.
Grovf probabilistic matching engine achieves 100 Gbps throughput regardless of the searching rule size and the number of rules (Maximum 13k rules at 100Gbps speed). In comparison, software implementations are much slower. Software speed decreases as Rule size or number of Rules increase.
